Horse Training

The training and further development of our own horses, as well as of horses entrusted to us for professional riding, is carried out individually and is based on the classical training scale. Calmness, inner balance, and harmony of the horses are of the utmost importance to us.

Renowned trainers support our rider team in developing the horses according to their talent, age, and discipline once their basic training has been completed. Competition appearances take place only after careful preparation and are aligned with the horses’ level of training. They serve as a review of the daily training process.

Several indoor riding arenas and outdoor arenas, a horse walker with an integrated lunging circle, extensive hacking trails, as well as paddocks and spacious pastures provide variety and create optimal conditions for a solid and sustainable education.

At Hofgut Albfuehren, horses are trained according to classical riding principles, in a way that is achievable and rideable for every rider. Our team works towards this goal every day with calmness, patience and consistency.
